Dade City Little League is a non-profit organization , whose purpose is to develop boys and girls, not only as athletes in baseball and softball, but as people -- to teach them sportsmanship, respect, humility and pride.
Sportsmanship: Learn the right ways to take a win or a loss
Respect: Respect the umpires and the coaches, even when you don't agree with their decisions
Humility: Don't think too highly of yourself. Yes, your team can be beaten, and No, you are not God's gift to baseball.
Pride: All those hours of practice do pay off, the hard work was worth it. you have something to be proud of.
Parents, please support us in our efforts to promote good behavior by remembering that others are always watching. Your children are learning from the example you set.
